This is a fabulous pair of antique early 20th-century Chinese sculptures, created during the early Republican period, circa 1925–1935. The carvings depict monumental paradise birds, masterfully sculpted in natural green jade. The level of detail is exceptional, showcasing remarkable skill and artistry. They are presented on later custom bases carved in brown wood, which complement the richness of the jade while providing a stable and elegant display.
