Modernist pair made in Paris, by the iconic French jewelry house of Chaumet. These hoop earrings was crafted in yellow gold of 18 karats, with high polished finish. They are suited with posts for pierced ears and comfortable omega backs for fastening clips.
Has a combined weight of 15.5 grams and a measures of 10 mm by 35 mm (0.39 x 1.38 Inches).
Stamped, with French hallmarks; the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18 kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche JC associated to Chaumet, the individual serial numbers and signed in full, "CHAUMET PARIS 471511 .750".
Chaumet: The French born jeweler, Marie-Etienne Ninot began his career as an assistant court-jeweler to the queen Marie Antoinette. In 1780, he moved to Paris and founded the House of Chaumet, and was appointed as jeweler to emperor Napoleon in 1802. During this period, Ninot became one of the most popular jewelers in Europe, establishing a loyal and continuous prestigious clientele. today the house remains as a luxury jewelry house under the name Chaumet Paris.
