Exceptional three-dimensional geometric pieces, created in Paris France by the house of Chaumet, back in the 1970. These very rare sculptural modernist clip-on earrings has been made, with an arrange of triangular patterns. Crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with mirrored polish in the high profiles and brushed finish in the low. They are suited with comfortable hinged French omega backs for fastening clips and the posts option for pierced ears can be easily added.

Embellished, with 6 sharp triangular cut elements (7 x 7 x 6 mm) carved from natural blue lapis lazuli from Afghanistan.

They have a combined weight of 22.95 grams and a measurements of of 30 mm by 33 mm (1.18 x 1.3 Inches).

Stamped, with French hallmarks; four times with the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18kt gold and the three times with the maker's cartouche mark JCM of Chaumet.

The house of Chaumet: The French born jeweler, Marie-Etienne Ninot began his career as an assistant court-jeweler to the queen Marie Antoinette. In 1780, he moved to Paris and founded the House of Chaumet, and was appointed as jeweler to emperor Napoleon in 1802. During this period, Ninot became one of the most popular jewelers in Europe, establishing a loyal and continuous prestigious clientele. today the house remains as a luxury jewelry house under the name Chaumet Paris.

Note: At the beginning of the modernist era between the end of the 60's and the beginning of the 70's, many jewelry houses, such as Cartier, Kutchinsky and Chaumet experimented with exceptional geometric designs, this model is one of them which we consider magnificent.

Note: These earrings are very rare, we was only able to locate a similar ring with malachite carvings.

Collateral: They are accompanied by the original service paperwork from Chaumet.

They are in perfect condition and are accompanied by the designer's presentation jewelry box.
