Pendant brooch designed by Chaumet.

Fabulous pendant-brooch, created in Paris France by the Jewelry house of Chaumet, back in the 1960. Designed with fluted and textured patterns and embellished with a great selection of natural seven earth mined gemstones. This beautiful piece has been crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish and fitted at the reverse with a hinged double pin bars with a trombone security lock.

Diamonds: Mounted in a pave setting, with 5 calibrated round brilliant cut diamonds, 1.06 carat, white colorless E/F color, VS-1 clarity.

Coral: Mounted with double screws settings, with 2 fluted curved cabochon cut carved from natural Sardinian coral.

Birthstone: Coral for the month of April.

Weight: 27.20 Grams, (17.45 Dwt).

Measurements: 46 mm by 35 mm (1.81 x 1.38 Inches).

Hallmarks Stamped with French marks, the maker's mark cartouche Ste G, the mark of the eagle for the assay and guarantee of the 18kt gold, the five digits serial numbers the plaque of Chaumet and signed, "CHAUMET MADE IN FRANCE 62961".

Chaumet

The French born jeweler, Marie-Etienne Ninot began his career as an assistant court-jeweler to the queen Marie Antoinette. In 1780, he moved to Paris and founded the House of Chaumet, and was appointed as jeweler to emperor Napoleon in 1802. During this period, Ninot became one of the most popular jewelers in Europe, establishing a loyal and continuous prestigious clientele. today the house remains as a luxury jewelry house under the name Chaumet Paris.
