Frog pin brooch designed by Cellino.

Beautiful little brooch, created in Italy during the mid-century by the jewelry designer Cellino, back in the 1960. Crafted with carvings of nephrite jade and solid yellow gold of 14 karats. It is fitted in the reverse with a hinged pin with a mechanical twisting lock.

Nephrite: All parts are mount by screws in 1 element carved in the shape of a leaf from natural green nephrite jade of about 12 carats.

Rubies: The eyes are mounted in bezel settings, with 2 round faceted vivid red Burmese rubies with 0.04 carats.

Birthstone: Jade for the month of March.

Weight: 9.60 Grams, (6.15 Dwt).

Measurements: 52 mm by 20 mm (2.05 x 0.79 Inches).

Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the gold and signed, "CELLINO 14KT".

Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.

Condition: The overall condition of this brooch is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All parts are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
