Cartier Paris GAIA Ring In 18Kt Yellow Gold With 4.32 Cts Of Diamond Rubies And Chrysoprase
Rare jeweled ring designed by Cartier.
A vintage piece created in, Paris, France by the famous house of Cartier. This cocktail ring is part of the Gaia collection, crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with high polished finish and embellished, with carved gemstones. The design of this piece was inspired by the Indian Moghul jewelry with strong influence of the 1930's art deco periods.
Bezel set on top, with carvings of natural gemstones. In the center, with a high relief cabochon pear cut of a green chrysoprase of about 4 carats and one curve piece carved from black onyx.
Accented at the sides, with 2 straight baguettes of natural red ruby (0.16 cts) and 8 round brilliant cut diamonds, 0.16 carats, D/E color, VS-1 clarity.
The total weight of this ring is 10.9 grams and the actual size is 9-10, sizeable.
The top view measures are 26 mm by 12.5 mm (1.02 X 0.49 Inches).
Stamped, with French hallmarks; the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18 kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche, the unique serial numbers and signed, "CARTIER 750 1990 62 R00474".
Note: Not many rings from this collection were produced.
Collateral: This ring is accompanied by the designer's jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this ring is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All the gemstones, are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
