-Cartier Paris 1950 Very Rare "Toi et Moi" Ring In 18Kt Yellow Gold With Corals
Beautiful "Toi et Moi" ring designed by Cartier.
Very rare cocktail ring from the French mid-century period, created in Paris around the 1950. Was designed by the house of Cartier and crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with textured patterns. This important piece was made at the exclusive Parisian jewelry atelier of Perry et Fils.
This ring is composed by two sculptural corps, one of them is slightly up and raise over the other and bezel set on top, with a matching pair of round cabochon cuts of natural red corals of 10 mm.
Have a total weight of 16.5 grams and the actual size is 5.25, can be easily re-sized.
The top view measures, are 21 mm by 20 mm and raise 10 mm over the finger.
Stamped with very clear French hallmarks; the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18 kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche for P & FILS inside a lozenge, the unique serial numbers and signed, "CARTIER PARIS 018792".
Note, The jewelry atelier of Perry et Fils, was responsible of many important commissions by the major Parisian jewelry houses such, Cartier, Boucheron and Van Cleef & Arpels. They work exclusively with high end and sophisticate designs.
It is in perfect condition and is accompanied by the original designer's jewelry box from the period.
