CARTIER Paris 1950 Vintage Agate Turtle Brooch-Pendant In 18Kt Yellow Gold
A turtle shaped brooch designed by Cartier.
This is a gorgeous convertible pendant-brooch created during the mid-century period in Paris France by the jewelry house of Cartier. The brooch has been masterfully crafted back in the 1948-1950 in the shape of a stylized turtle in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with polished and textured finishes. The brooch is fitted at the reverse with a concealed hinge pin bar with a mechanical trombone lock to wear as a brooch and a ring to wear in a chain or necklace. This is a unisex great piece presented in a Cartier jewelry box.
