*Cartier Paris Panthere Trinity brooch in 18 kt yellow gold with mini trinity ring & Tsavorites
A Panthere trinity brooch designed by Cartier.
Beautiful and iconic piece from the created in Paris France by the house of Cartier. It was crafted in solid 18 karats of high polished yellow gold, with white gold accents.
The design feature the stylized Panther Animal, running to the right holding from the mouth a double chains with a trinity rings hanging. the eyes are accented with two round green tsavorites (.04 Ctw) and is suited at the reverse, with a hinged horizontal pin bar with a trombone lock.
The Panthere has been the symbol of the house of Cartier since the 1914. The panther, the symbolic animal of Cartier, made its first appearance in the house collections in the 1914. The jeweler Mo. Louis Cartier was the first to tame the mythic animal. His colleague mademoiselle Jeanne Toussaint was the artistic director of the Paris Cartier's brand and was the responsible to turned it into an iconic legend, the panther can be fierce, playful, or lovable, displaying all the facets of its liberated personality from one collection to the next one for over more of 100 years.
The total weight of this piece is 10.95 grams and have a measures of 37 mm by 30 mm (1.46 x 1.18 inches).
Stamped, with French hallmarks; four times with the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18 kt gold, two times with the maker's maitre stamp for Ste GB, the serial numbers and signed, "CARTIER .750 510143".
It is in perfect condition and is accompanied by the Cartier jewelry presentation box.
