A geometric ball ring designed by Jean Dinh Van for Cartier.
This little sculpture and portable work of art, was designed by Dinh Van exclusively for Cartier in Paris between the 1968 and 1970. It was crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karat and the surfaces are finished with very high polish.

Jean Dinh Van is a French designer that began is successful career in the 1960 designing for the French jewelry houses of Cartier and Pierre Cardin. In 1972 he started his own company and the followed years his revolutionary designs and style caught on quickly and launched him to the forefront of the jewelry and fashion world. All his designs are very geometric and modern, both, his original vintage pieces created for Cartier and the contemporary creations are highly collectible.
