This piece is part of the Panthere 2006 collection designed by the house of Cartier. Featuring the design of a stylized panther face, with the body forming the "C" of Cartier. Crafted in solid white gold of 18 karats.
This brooch is suited with a double hinged flexible steam pin. for security and stability.
Set in a bezel set, with one pear shape cut diamond with a weight of 0.12 carat, D color VVS-1.
The panther, the symbolic animal of Cartier, made its first appearance in the house collections in the 1914. The jeweler Mo. Louis Cartier was the first to tame the mythic animal. His colleague mademoiselle Jeanne Toussaint was the artistic director of the Paris Cartier's brand and she was the responsible to turned it into an iconic legend. The panther can be fierce, playful, or lovable, displaying all the facets of its liberated personality from one collection to the next one.

Stamped with French hallmarks; the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18 kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche V, the serial numbers and signed, "CARTIER .750".
