Cartier 1950 Paris By Andre Vassort Rare Piume Necklace In 18Kt Textured Yellow Gold

Very rare necklace designed by Andre Vassort for Cartier Paris.

A beautiful post-war piece from the French mid-century period, circa 1950's. Created by the French master jeweler Andre Vassort, at his atelier, located in Paris 2, 34 Rue Sainte Anne.

This necklace, was crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with a gradation of textured and articulated piume elements. Suited at the ends with a discrete push lock with a hinged slash for extra security.

Have a total weight of 87.9 grams and a length of 15.25 inches.

Stamped, with French hallmarks; three times, with the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18 kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche, AV for Andre Vassort, the unique serial numbers and signed, "CARTIER PARIS 2316".

Collateral: It is accompanied by the designer jewelry box.

Condition: The overall condition of this necklace is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
