-Cartier 1950 Enameled Racing Horse Jockey Brooch In 18Kt Gold With Diamonds

Racing horse Jockey brooch designed by Cartier.

A very rare beautiful piece, created by the jewelry house of Cartier, back in the 1950. This colorful racing horse jockey brooch has been carefully crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and fitted with a hinged pin bar with a mechanical lock to be wear. The jockey is in action mounted atop the horse and embellished with applications of black, green, red and white hot enamel. The horse is finished with a delicate incised textured patterns and small diamonds accents.

Diamonds: Mounted in a flush setting, with 8 round European cut diamonds, 0.10 carats, white colorless F color, VS/SI clarity.

Weight: 17.60 Grams, (11.28 Dwt).

Measurements: 53 mm by 41 mm (2.08 x 1.61 Inches).

Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the gold, the serial numbers and signed, "CARTIER 18K 20468"

Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
