This is a gorgeous one of a kind pair of clips-on earrings, created in Paris by the French jewelry house of Cartier, back in the 1950. The earrings are very elegant and have been crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. They are embellished with a great selection of seventy-two natural earth mined gemstones, such blue sapphires and white colorless diamonds. They are fitted at the reverse, with very comfortable hinged French omega clips-backs for fastening closure.

Diamonds: Mounted in pave settings, with 42 calibrated round brilliant cut diamonds, 1.26 carats, white colorless E color, VS-2 clarity.
Sapphires: Mounted in four-prongs settings, with 30 round faceted cuts of natural vivid blue sapphires, with a total weight of about 3.00 carats.
Weight: 15.3 Grams, (9.85 Dwt).
Measurements: 26 mm by 22 mm by 12 mm (1.02 x 0.87 x 0.47 Inches).
Hallmarks: They are both stamped with French control marks; the maker's mark C inside a lozange cartouche associated to the Cartier workshops, the marks of the eagle's head for the assay and warranty of the .750/.999 gold, the serial numbers and signed as follow, "CARTIER FRANCE 18CTS CA".
Collateral: These earrings are accompanied by the Cartier presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of these Cartier clips-on earrings are excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. The 72 gemstones are secured in their settings. This pair has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
