*Carlo Weingrill 1960 Verona Clip-earrings in 18 kt textured woven gold

Classical pair of CLIP-earrings designed by Carlo Weingrill.

Vintage pieces created in Verona Italy, circa 1960's. They are entirely crafted in solid 18 karats of textured rich yellow gold, featuring the typical Weingrill patterns. they are suited with posts (Removable) for pierced ears and omega backs for fastening clips.

Have a total weight of 22.7 grams and a measures are 27 mm by 22 mm (1.06 x 0.87 Inches).

Both are stamped, with the Italian assay control hallmarks and signed, "WEINGRILL ITALY .750 15 VR".

Carlo Weingrill, born in Verona, Italy, in 1856. At the age of just eleven, he began to be an apprenticeship in a local goldsmith’s shop. When he completed his training at the age of 22, he open his own factory in Verona in 1879.
