Beautiful and popular Trombino cocktail ring made in Roma, Italy by the iconic jewelry house of Bvlgari. It was crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with high polished finish.
Mounted on top in a bezel, with one cushion sugarloaf cabochon cut (8.8 X 8.77 X 8.15 mm) of a natural Ceylon blue sapphire of 7.20 carats. The sapphire gemstone have a great vivid blue saturation is completely transparent and eye clean.
The four sides are pave set, with 36 calibrated round brilliants cuts diamonds, 1.08 carats, D/E color, VVS-1 clarity.
Have a total weight of 10.2 grams and the actual size is 6, sizable.
The top view measures are 15 mm by 22 mm and raise 11 mm over the finger,
Stamped with, the maker's mark, the Italian control assay hallmarks, the British, London city import marks with the letter P for the year 2014 and signed, "BVLGARI ROMA .750 7.20 cts P SB955".
Bvlgari, was founded in the late 19th century by Sotirio Bulgari, who was born in 1857 in Greece and was descended from a talented family of silversmiths. In 1884 he opened his first shop in Rome on the Via Sistina, and then in 1905 he moved to the actual flag's store in Via dei Condotti. Upon Sotirio’s death in 1932 his sons, Giorgio and Costantino, took over the business. They are credited with creating the highly distinctive ‘Bvlgari’ style, inspired by Greek and Roman classicism revival, the Italian Renaissance, and the 19th century Roman school of goldsmiths. The 1970s marked the beginning of Bulgari’s international expansion with the opening of stores in New York (the first overseas), Paris, Geneva and Monte Carlo.
