*France 1950 Soubrenie Et Bois Paris Jeweled box in 18 kt gold with diamonds jade & precious agate
Exceptional jeweled box designed by Soubrenie Et Bois.
Gorgeous and beautiful gem set decorative piece, created at the jewelry atelier of Soubrenie et Bois in Paris France, during the mid-century period, circa 1950. The craftsmanship is superb with excellent precision and attention to the details. Both parts are carved out from a single solid piece of translucent precious Agate and mounted together in a frame, crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats.
The upper lid part is decorated with a stylized yellow gold design of two leaves, that are mounted with two carvings of vivid green jadeite jade. Accented with two round brilliant diamonds, 0.12 carats, E color, VVS-1 clarity.
Stamped, with French hallmarks; the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18 kt gold and the maker's mark SB associated to Soubrenie et Bois.
Has a total weight of 450 Grams and a measures of 131 mm by 38.1 mm by 86,6 mm (5.16 x 1.5 x 3.41 Inches)
