Rare and one-of-a-kind piece created by the house of Boucheron in Paris, France during the mid-century period, circa1960's. This cocktail ring is part of the Boucheron collection, called Ecaille, It was crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with high polished finish
The ring's body is embellished with a brown translucent natural carving and is bezel set at top with one oval cabochon cut (14 x 7 x 6.5 mm) of a natural green chrysoprase, with weight of 4.56 carats, The gemstone is completely translucent, eye clean and gem quality.
Have a total weight of 12.95 grams and the actual size is 6.5, cannot be enlarged, only down-sized.
Stamped, with very clear French hall marks; the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche AJV, the serial numbers and signed in full with cursive letters, "BOUCHERON PARIS 51008".
