*Corletto 1960 Italy large Blackamoor Nubian bust in 18 kt gold with carved ebony and red coral

Blackamoor charm pendant carved in ebony.

A vintage unusual piece made in Venice Italy, around the 1950's. This Nubian princess bust, was carved from a single piece of natural black Ebony wood and is displayed in a custom made mounting of 18 karat yellow gold.

It is mounted under the neck, with a genuine Italian red coral cabochon of 8 mm and the ears are accented with two small round pieces of gold representing earrings. Suited on top, with a movable oval bale to be used in a chain or a bracelet.

Has a total weight of 5.6 grams and a measure of 45 mm by 15 mm (1.77 x 0.59 Inches).

Excellent carving and very nice representation of a Nubian princess, beautifully detailed with excellent craftsmanship and in great vintage condition.
