Sculptural modernism ring designed by Bent Exner (1932-2006).

One-of-a-kind Danish geometric piece, created in Denmark by the artist and silversmith Bent Exner. This sculptural modernist cocktail ring was crafted back in the 1970, in solid .925/.999 sterling silver with fired gilded applications of 18 karats yellow gold.

Has a total weight of 21.95 Grams and the actual size is 6.5, sizeable. The top view measures are 20mm by 20mm and raise 20mm over the finger.

Stamped, with the maker's mark, the gold and silver assay hallmarks and signed, "925S EXNER 18 KT".

Bent Exner (1932-2006) was known for his unique jewelry and church art. He was very much inspired by Christianity and his jewelry often has different religious motifs or meanings. His career took off in the 1960s, when Bent Exner became known for geometric precision and logic in his jewelry. At the same time, he was known for his new thinking and ability to be innovative goldsmith.
