An Austro-Hungarian Empire cigars box in silver
This is an amazing antique cigars box with wonderful eye appeal created in Europe during the Austro-Hungarian Empire period between the 1915 and 1920. The box itself has been crafted in Budapest Hungary as a rectangle with curved edges in solid .800/.999 silver and lined inside with panels of cedar wood. The box is fitted with a lid which is decorated with ten genuine antique silver coins from different periods of the ruling time of emperor Francis Joseph I.

Hallmarks: Stamped with Austro Hungarian marks for Hungary, the maker's mark inside an oval cartouche, the mark Diana with 800 for the assay and warranty of the .800/.999 silver and signed in several parts as follows, "PV .800 H".
Condition: The overall condition of this Austro-Hungarian double cigars box is very good to excellent. Besides the little normal wear, there is no damage to the silver. All parts and the 10 coins are secured in the settings. This box has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
