AUSTRIAN 1925 Black Enameled Case Box In Engraved .925 Sterling Silver

Enameled rectangular box made in Austria

Beautiful Austrian early 20th century enameled box, created in the city of Vienna back in the 1925. This case-box was carefully crafted in solid .925/.999 standard silver with the interiors embellished in yellow gold gilt finish. Made of rectangular shape with a seven barrels hinged lid, raised by a simple thumbpiece. The box is beautifully engraved with floriated and organics decorations and topped with applications of black glass enamel.

Weight: 86.50 Grams, (55.45 Dwt).

Measurements: 78 mm by 52 by 10 mm (1.65 x 0.83 Inches).

Hallmarks: Stamped twice with Austrian marks, the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the silver, the model numbers and signed, "MADE IN AUSTRIA STERLING SILVER 588".

Collateral: This box is accompanied by a presentation jewelry pouch.

Condition: The overall condition of this box is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no trace of wear to the silver. The enamel is secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
