AUSTRIAN 1900 Art Nouveau Fire-Enamel Flying Pigeon In Sterling With Ruby
An Austrian art-nouveau brooch in fire-enamel
This is an amazing antique brooch created in Vienna Austria during the art-nouveau period, back in the 1900's. The brooch has been crafted in the shape of a stylized flying pigeon with open wings in solid silver with patinated finish. The entire body is embellished with applications of fire enamels with shades and hues of blue-green. The brooch is fitted at the reverse with a hinge pin bar with a mechanical security lock and is presented in an antique box.
