A geometric cocktail ring with a rare Black Opal.

Gorgeous three-dimensional sculptural piece crafted in 18 karats of solid white gold, with high polished finish.

Mounted on top with one oval-marquise cabochon cut (8 x 20 x 6 mm) of a very rare natural Black Opal, with a weight of 5.37 carats. The Opal is gemstone quality and have great transparency with beautiful play of vivid blue and black colors.

Vertically accented in just one side, with 14 calibrated round brilliants cuts diamonds, 0.21 carats, F/G color, vs-2 clarity.

Have a total weight of 14.95 Grams and the actual size is 7, sizable. The three-dimensional measure are 20 mm by 11.5 by 27 mm.

Note: Black opals are exceptionally rare in that they are known to form in only one place: Australia. in fact, most of the opals found on the continent are from the town of lightning ridge. these are rare gemstones with a personality entirely its own. it was Shakespeare who gave black opals their moniker, “the mother of all gemstones,” but it doesn’t take a gemologist to agree that the name fits. with their rainbow array of colors, blooming in fire-like patterns and transparency.
