An American art deco bracelet with French-cuts diamonds.

A highly important antique bracelet created in the United States during the Art Deco period, circa 1925–1930. This rare and elegant piece is masterfully handcrafted in solid platinum with a polished finish, exhibiting the refined geometric precision and architectural balance that define the Art Deco aesthetic. The bracelet is composed of finely articulated links, allowing for both flexibility and a graceful fit on the wrist. It is lavishly set with an exceptional assortment of two-hundred-forty natural, earth-mined gemstones, comprising white, colorless diamonds, French calibré-cut square diamonds, and vivid red rubies. The total combined weight of the gemstones is approximately 21.66 carats and all gemstones are calibrated in size, perfectly cut, not heated or treated in any way. They are the originals gemstones from the stated period, with no replacements. The precise calibration of the rubies allows for seamless integration into the geometric design, forming continuous bands of vibrant color, while the diamonds—of varying cuts—provide brilliance, contrast, and dimensionality. The gemstone settings are executed with fine millegrain detailing, a hallmark of superior craftsmanship of the period, enhancing both the visual refinement and the definition of each element. The mounting is of exceptional quality, reflecting meticulous attention to structural integrity and finishing. The bracelet is fitted with a concealed box clasp featuring a double push-lock mechanism, further secured by a hinged safety clasp, ensuring both discretion and reliability in wear. Attributed to the workshops of Oscar Heyman in New York City, a firm renowned for producing some of the finest platinum and gemstone-set jewels of the early 20th century, often for leading maisons. An outstanding example of American Art Deco jewelry, this bracelet combines exceptional craftsmanship, superior materials, and timeless geometric elegance, making it a highly desirable and important collector’s piece.
