Art Deco 1940 American Geometric Tank Ring In 18Kt Yellow Gold With 4.5 Cts Of Caliber Citrines
Art-Deco geometric tank ring.
A retro machine age piece, made during the art deco period, circa 1940. This unique cocktail Tank ring has been crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with high polished finish.
Bezel set at top inside a channel, with 9 emeralds corner cuts (5 x 3 x 3 mm) of natural orange citrines with a combined weight of 4.5 carats. The gemstones are caliber cuts with great vivid color saturation and transparent with no inclusions.
Have a total weight of 13.4 grams and the actual size is 8, sizable. The top view measures are 12 mm by 28 mm and raise 9 mm over the finger.
Stamped, with the gold assay hallmark, "18 KT".
Note: Immediately after the first world war, the creation of jewelry with geometric patterns inspired by the tracks of the war tanks became very fashionable. The synthesis of these designs were adapted during the art deco period and after the post-war.
Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
