An outstanding long sautoir necklace from the American Art Deco period, circa 1925. The piece is meticulously handcrafted in solid platinum (tested .900–.999 fineness) and designed as a refined station sautoir. The necklace is set with sixty European round-cut diamonds, each bezel-set and evenly distributed along the length. The diamonds are estimated to weight approximately 10.86 carats in total, with individual stones averaging approximately 0.18 carats each. Grading is estimated in the F-G-H color range and VS/SI clarity, exhibiting good brilliance and typical characteristics of early 20th-century European cuts, including high crowns, small tables, and open culets. The sautoir is designed for versatility and may be worn as a single long strand or doubled as a two-row necklace. It is fitted with a concealed spring clasp complemented by a security locking mechanism for added safety.
