*Art-Deco 1930 platinum Riviera tennis bracelet with 7.52 Ctw in vivid blue spinel
An Art-Deco Riviera bracelet in platinum.
Very elegant piece from the American Art-Deco period, circa 1930's. This sleek Riviera tennis bracelet was crafted in solid .900/.999 platinum with .100/.999 iridium and suited with a double push lock with a hinged slash for extra security.
The sides are completely decorated with engravings and the top is channel set, with 47 rectangular French cuts of vivid intense blue spinel, with a combined weight of 7.52 carats.
The setting of the gems are finished on each side with millegrain patterns.
Have a weight of 16.6 grams and a lenght of 7 inches (17.5 cm). The width measure is 4.5 mm.
Stamped, with the platinum assay hallmarks, "IRID PLAT".
Note: The millegrain pattern is a jewelry technique which refers to the textural effect of a close-set line of metal beads that are typically used as a border on the edges or bezels of jewelry.
It is in impeccable condition with no previous repairs, and the gemstones don't show abrasions on top.
