Art Deco 1930 Classic Brooch In Platinum With Pave of 13.02 Cts In VVS Round Diamonds
An art-deco gem-set brooch.
Gorgeous piece from the late American art deco period, circa 1930's. This beautiful brooch was carefully assembled from several elements crafted in the shape of a flower with stepped petals, in solid .900/.999 platinum and .100/.999 iridium. Fitted at the reverse with a hinged pin bar and a hook to wear as a brooch and embellished with fabulous galleria mounted with a great selection of natural white-colorless diamonds.
Mounted in the center top in a six prongs setting, with one round brilliant cut diamond of 0.50 carats, E color, VVS-1 clarity.
The six petals and the bombe semi-spherical center are mounted with an exceptional pave setting composed by 200 calibrated round brilliant cut diamonds, with a total weight of 10.84 carats, E color, VVS-2 clarity.
Accented in between the petals by 6 marquise faceted cut diamonds mounted in V shaped prongs, 1.68 carats, E color, VVS-1 clarity.
Has a total weight of 22.4 Grams and a measurements of 43 mm by 42 mm (1.70 x 1.65 Inches).
Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this brooch is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the platinum. All the diamonds, are secured in the settings.
