Art Deco 1925 Graduated Burmese Jadeite Jade Necklace Sautoir In Platinum With Diamonds

An art deco graduated jadeite beads necklace.

Fabulous long necklace sautoir type, created during the Art Deco period, circa 1925. It is composed by multiples graduated spheres beads of Burmese jadeite jade with the original platinum security box lock. This long strand necklace was carefully knotted with vivrant bright green jadeite jade beads, graduating in sizes from 4.0 mm to 9.0 mm. Extremely well matched in translucent green to pastel light green color with moderately strong mottling.

Jadeite Jade: Stranded with 144 graduated round beads (4 to 9 mm) of natural green jadeite jade, with an approximate weight of 288.25 carats. The gemstones are from Burmese origin, semi translucent with lovely subtle graduation in color.

Birthstone: For the month of August.

Diamonds: The platinum security lock is mounted with 3 old European rose cuts diamonds, 0.20 carats. G/H color, SI-1 clarity.

Weight: Total of 60.65 Grams, (38.87 Dwt).

Size: Total extended lenght is 37 Inches (94 Cm).

Condition: The overall condition of this necklace sautoir is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the platinum. All beads are secured and was recently re stranded. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
