ARMAN 18 KT GOLD DECONSTRUCTED VIOLIN SCULPTURAL BROOCH
BEAUTIFUL SCULPTURAL PIECE DESIGNED BY ARMAN (NICE 1928-2005 NEW YORK). A VERY RARE VIOLON SCULPTURE, MADE PARIS FRANCE, IN A LIMITED NUMBERED EDITION OF ONLY 8 PIECES. DESIGNED BY PIERRE ARMAN IN THE 1970'S AT HIS TIME IN NEW YORK CITY. THIS MODELS WAS CREATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR JEWELRY AND CONCEIVED TO SHOW ALL BROKEN PARTS OF A DECONSTRUCTED VIOLIN.
IS TOTALLY HAND CRAFTED IN SOLID 18 KARATS OF HIGH POLISHED YELLOW AND WHITE GOLD. SUITED AT THE REVERSE WITH A HINGED DOUBLE PIN AND A TROMBONE LOCK, CAN BE USED AS A PENDANT TOO.
ARMAND PIERRE FERNANDEZ BORN IN NICE, FRANCE IN THE 1928. WAS ONE OF THE FIRST PROPONENTS OF SCATTER ART. AROUND THE 1960'S WAS WORKING IN NEW YORK CREATING SCULPTURES FROM TRASH AND REJECTED PIECES, HE ADOPTED THE DESTRUCTION AS AN STRATEGY TO CREATE SOME NEW PIECES. ALL HIS ART PIECES ARE CREATED DECONSTRUCTING THE PIECES OF AN ORIGINAL OBJECT TO CREATE A SIMILAR NEW ONE. HE PASSED AWAY IN THE 2005 IN NEW YORK AS PIERRE ARMAN.
THE TOTAL WEIGHT OF THIS PIECE IS 30.5 Grams. IS SIGNED AT THE VERSO "ARMAN" AND STAMPED AT THE REVERSE WITH THE FRENCH ASSAY EAGLE HEAD MARK FOR THE GUARANTY OF THE GOLD, THE MAKER'S CARTOUCHE MARK, THE EDITORS PUBLISHER MARK AND THE HALL MARKS ".750 ARMAN 8/8".
HAVE A MEASURES OF 58 mm (2.32 Inches) BY 28 mm (1.12 Inches).
