Art deco Italian Cameo Necklace.
Beautiful antique piece, created in Napoles Italy during the late Art-Deco period, circa 1930. This necklace was crafted in three tones of solid yellow, pink and white gold of 14 karats and suited with a boxed push lock. The main parts of the necklace are composed by 2 strands of faceted beads, carved from natural Brazilian orange Citrines gemstones, with a total weight of about 224 carats.
Embellished with a large oval cameo, carved from natural sea-shell and mounted in an octagonal frame that is accented with one round brilliant cut diamonds, .08 carats, G/H color, VS-2 clarity.
Has a total weight of 68.1 grams and a length of 18 Inches (45.75 Cm). The measures of the main drop element is 49 mm by 39 mm (1.93 x 1.54 Inches).
Stamped, with the maker's mark and the Italian gold assay hallmark, “14 KT”.
Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this necklace is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All the gemstones, are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
