Beautiful pair created in New York city by Angela Cummings back in the 1993. It was crafted with a twisted ribbon shape in solid .925/,999 sterling silver. Suited, with posts and hinged omega backs for fastening clips.
Have a total weight of 22.8 Grams and a measures of 25 mm by 28 mm (1 x 1.10 Inches).
Signed by the artist and stamped, with the silver assay hallmark, "CUMMINGS STERLING".
Angela Cummings was born in 1944 in Klagenfurt in Austria. She take her education at the art academy in Perugia, Italy and at the Zeichenakademie in Hanau, West Germany. in the 1967 she joined Tiffany & Co working under the guidance of Donald Claflin and in the 1975, she was the artistic director for her exclusive line brand Cummings. in 1984 she started her own line of jewelry to be retailed exclusively at an in-boutique store at Bergdorf Goodman, in New York city. now she's retired from the jewelry business.
Very nice collector's piece, both her signed pieces for Tiffany & Co. created in the 1970's and 1980's and also her own exclusive pieces, remain highly collectible and are admired for their beauty, comfort and easily recognizably in style.
Note: Bracelets and rings has been also produced with this pattern. This model is rarely see in the after market.
They are in perfect condition, with no dents or marks.
