Very beautiful pair, created by Angela Cummings at her studio in New York, back, back in the early 1980's. These very modernist round clips earrings has been crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with high polish finish and suited, with comfortable French omega backs for fastening clips. The posts option for pierced ears can be easily added.
The entire surface is embellished with multiples inlaid of circular elements carved from natural gemstones.
These free-shaped geometric figures have a reminiscence to the art-pieces from the German-French sculptor Jean Arp.

Angela Cummings, was born in 1944 in Klagenfurt in Austria. She take her education at the art academy in Perugia, Italy and at the Zeichenakademie in Hanau, West Germany. in the 1967 she joined Tiffany & Co working under the guidance of Donald Claflin and in the 1975, she was the artistic director for her exclusive line brand Cummings. in 1984 she started her own line of jewelry to be retailed exclusively at an in-boutique store at Bergdorf Goodman, in New York city. now she's retired from the jewelry business.
