Pair of Perforations earrings designed by Angela Cummings.

Beautiful organic pair, created in New York city by Angela Cummings back in the early 1980's. These modernist Perforations free-form earrings has been crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with semi brushed finishes. Fitted at the reverse with comfortable French omega backs for fastening clips and the posts option for pierced ears can be easily added.

The surfaces are embellished with a pattern of multiples graduated perforations, that resemble the organic texture of a sea-coral and some of them are mount with a great selection of earth mined natural diamonds.

Diamonds: Mount in bezel incsusted settings, with 64 graduated round brilliant cut diamonds, 2.24 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS-2 clarity

Weight: 31.65 Grams (20.29 Dwt).

Measures: 30 mm by 25 mm (1.18 x 1.0 Inches).

Hallmarks: They are both stamped with the maker's mark, the gold assay mark and signed, "© ANGELA CUMMINGS 1988 18KT".

Angela Cummings 

Was born in 1944 in Klagenfurt in Austria. She take her education at the art academy in Perugia, Italy and at the Zeichenakademie in Hanau, West Germany. in the 1967 she joined Tiffany & Co working under the guidance of Donald Claflin and in the 1975, she was the artistic director for her exclusive line brand Cummings. in 1984 she started her own line of jewelry to be retailed exclusively at an in-boutique store at Bergdorf Goodman, in New York city. now she's retired from the jewelry business. This pair is a very nice and rare collector's piece, both her signed pieces for Tiffany & Co. created in the 1970's and 1980's and also her own exclusive pieces, remain highly collectible and are admired for their beauty, comfort and easily recognizably in style.

Condition: The overall condition of these earrings are excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All diamonds are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
