Unusual pair of ear-clips designed by Angela Cummings.

A rare one-of-a-kind vintage pair of clips-earrings designed as a Japonisme landscape abstraction of clouds and mountains. This gorgeous pair has been created by Angela Cummings back in the 1980's, at her own studios in New York city.

They are crafted in solid 18 kt of high polished yellow gold and suited with comfortable omega backs for fastening clips. The posts options for pierced ears can be easily added.

The entire surface is embellished with inlaid carved gemstones. The pieces are free-form and the inlaid setting create a beautiful mosaic of geometric patterns. The gems are translucent blue lace agate, white nacre, quartz and hematite.

The weight of this pair is 24.3 grams and the diameter is 25.5 mm (1 inch).

Stamped at the reverse, with the maker's mark, the gold assay hallmarks and signed in full, "ANGELA CUMMINGS 1989 18 KT".
