Doorknocker convertible earrings designed by Andrew Clunn.

Gorgeous pair of convertible doorknockers earrings, created in New York city at the jewelry atelier of Andrew Clunn. These earrings has been crafted with fluted patterns in solid rich yellow gold of 18 karats with hammered finish. They has been designed as a convertible day and night dangle drop pair and fitted with comfortable hinged French omega backs for fastening clips. The addition of posts for pierced ears can be easily done.

Tiger Eye: Mounted with 2 matching removable hooplets, carved from natural tiger eye gemstones with a weight of 64.27 carats.

Birthstone: Tiger eye for the month of August.

Weight: 44.50 Grams, (28.53 Dwt).

Measurements: 55 mm by 36 mm (2.16 x 1.42 Inches).

Hallmarks Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the gold and signed, "A. CLUNN 18KT".

Andrew Clunn

He was born in England and moved to the United States where he worked as an apprentice to David Webb from 1963 until Webb’s death in 1975. During his 12 years of apprenticeship, he became a trusted employee and eventually become Webb's right hand man and worked with well-known clients including Elizabeth Taylor and the Duchess of Windsor. In 1980, Clunn opened his own jewelry studio on Madison Avenue in New York City specializing in unique and distinctive jewelry designs for distinguished families in Europe and North America. He died in February 2016 in Rye,
