Andre Vassort 1960 Paris Drop Earrings In 18Kt Gold With 2.34 Cts In Diamonds & Corals
Mid-Century Drop Earrings designed by Andre Vassort.
Very rare pair, created in Paris France at the jewelry atelier of Andre Vassort, back in the 1960's. This colorful unique dangle drop earrings were crafted with fluted patterns in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and platinum parts for the diamonds settings. Suited with posts for pierced ears (Removable) and French omega backs for fastening clips.
Composed by 2 movable parts and embellished with four curved fluted elements carved from natural Sardinian reddish coral.
Mounted with a calibrated pave setting of 26 round brilliant cut diamonds, 2.34 carats, F color, VS-2 Clarity.
They have a combined, weight of 33.7 Grams and a measurements of 47mm (Drop) by 25.4mm (1.85 x 1 Inches).
Stamped, with French hallmarks, the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18kt gold and the maker's maitre cartouche AV, for Andre Vassort.
Note: The Mo. A. Vassort jewelry atelier, was located in Paris 2, 34 Rue Sainte Anne.
Condition: The overall condition of this piece is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All the gemstones, are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
