A jeweled necklace with Alexander The Great coin.
Modern chained necklace crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats.
Is mount with 25 round brilliants cuts diamonds, 0.50 carats, G/H color, VS-2 clarity and 2 round cabochons cut of natural Burmese rubies, 0.12 carats.
The center part is mount with one authentic ancient Greek silver coin from the period of the king Alexander III "The Great". Is a silver drachm from the Macedonian kingdom, struck between the 336-323 BC.
Obv Description: The portrait bust of Herakles facing to the right and wearing a lion's scalp in the head.
Rev description: The seated figure of Zeus, enthroned and holding with the right hand a falcon and a sceptre in the left, the name of Alexander in ancient Greek αλέξανδρος vertical in the right campus, MV monogram on beneath and X at left camp.
This piece have a total weight of 27.7 grams and a length 20 of Inches (51 Cm.)
The mounted element with the coin and gemstones have a measure of 28 mm by 30 mm.
Stamped with the maker's mark and the gold assay hallmarks, "18 kt".
