An impressive geometric bold piece made in Paris France, back in the 1960's. The entire body of this wristwatch is entirely crafted in solid sterling silver and the bracelet work as a rigid bangle. Suited with a swiss winding mechanical movement.
The wristwatch have a plain silver dial with an open measure of 44 mm by 49 mm (1.76 x1.96 inches).
Has a total weight of 111.5 grams and fit a wrist up to 6.75 inches (17 Cm).
Stamped, with the French hallmarks, four times with the crab for the assay and guaranty of the silver, the maker's mark for Barthelay and the number 53 for the wrist size.

Alexis Barthelay founded his eponymous brand in the 1930s in the Place Vendome in Paris The brand focused on jewelry at first but soon came to be known for watches as well. Barthelay is known for combining unusual materials in watches, including coral and stone. With the advent of quartz movements, Barthelay focused on ultra-thin watches before turning to steel and diamonds in the 1990s.
It is in perfect condition and the bracelet is in impeccable vintage condition, the movement is running properly and has an outstanding look.
