*A Ahahob Russian guilloche enameled Eastern Egg pendant charm in 14 kt and sterling

Russian Easter egg pendant designed by A. Ahahob.

very nice neo-classical Russian Easter Egg, created during the Soviet period around the 1960's. It was crafted in solid 14 karats yellow gold (54 zolotniks) and sterling silver (92).

Embellished with a gorgeous guilloche pattern decorated with applications of pearled white enamel. 

Suited on top, with a movable bale loop of 6 mm.

Has a weight of 5.3 grams, have a diameter of 13 mm and a height of 25.4 mm (1 inch). 

This piece is stamped, with Russian hallmarks, the maker's cartouche and signed in Cyrillic, "A. AHAHOB .585 С Ю"

Note: Guilloché is used in fine jewelry to enhance the appearance of brooches, rings and pendants. Guilloché enamel refers to metal pieces that have been given the Guilloché treatment and then covered with a translucent layer of enamel, giving the geometric patterns underneath the enamel a colorful hue.

Very unusual and pretty piece of jewelry in perfect condition. The chain is not included is just for display purpose and give a scale reference.
