A massive retro-modernist cocktail ring created in America during the late Art Deco period, circa 1938–1940. This bold and sculptural piece is masterfully crafted in solid 18-karat yellow gold, finished with a high polish that enhances its strong, volumetric presence. The design reflects the transitional aesthetic between late Art Deco geometry and the emerging Retro period’s emphasis on scale and form. At the center, the ring is set with a striking cushion-cut amethyst of vivid purple hue, expertly carved and prominently displayed.
