This striker for lighting was crafted with art deco geometric patterns in a square shape in solid .925/.999 sterling silver. The surface is embellished on both sides with engine turned design. They were very prominent Birmingham, UK-based jewelry and watch accessory manufacturer established in 1855, best known for producing the "Bonklip" watch bracelet for over 40 years. Specializing in high-quality gold and silver chains, cases, and bands, they were key suppliers to manufacturers like Rolex and active until at least 1959. The company was originally founded by Benjamin Henry Britton at 83 Vyse Street, Birmingham, initially making "gold guard and fancy chains". They were prolific producers of silver and gold chains, cigarette cases, vesta boxes (match safes), signet rings, and expanding watch bracelets. B.H. Britton & Sons famously manufactured the patented Bonklip watch strap, a popular military-style metal bracelet, from the early 1930s onwards, which was often fitted to Rolex watches. Located in Birmingham's Jewelry District (35 Hockley Hill) and operated a London sales office at New House.
