This is a sculptural cocktail ring, created in New York City by Elsa Peretti for the Tiffany & Co., back in the 1980's. This beautiful bold ring is the larger version of the series and was part of the iconic Peretti Signature collection. The ring was carefully crafted with free-forms in solid .925/.999 sterling silver with high polished finish and embellished with one cabochon carved from natural black Nephrite jade
Black Nephrite Jade
Black jade is a type of nephrite jade, is found mostly in Asia and several locations worldwide, including the Cowell area of South Australia, the Guangxi region of Southern China, and the Fengtian area of Hualien County, Taiwan. Measurements: From the top view is 22 mm by 19 mm (0.87 x 0.75 Inches) and raise 16 mm over the finger.
