Sculptural twisted pen designed by Angela Cummings.

Sculptural pen, created back in the 1981 in New York city at the Tiffany Studios. This fabulous sculptural pen has been designed with a simple sleek twisted pattern by Angela Cummings. Crafted in solid sterling silver .925/.999 with high polished finish.

This pen was designed between the 1981 and 1982, but was never released by Tiffany & Co. due to the absence of the Tiffany firm and the breakup and resignation of Angela Cummings that same year. This pen comes from old stock direct from the manufacturer. This pen is rare to see in the aftermarket and is accompanied by a brand new sealed ink cartridge. It is presented in the original sealed package with the Tiffany & Co. care instructions.

Weight: 18.2 Grams, (11.66 Dwt).

Measurements: 120 mm by 6 mm by 6 mm (4.75 x 0.24 x 0.24 Inches).

Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the silver assay and signed, "ANGELA CUMMINGS STERLING SILVER".

Angela Cummings 

She was born in 1944 in Klagenfurt in Austria. She take her education at the art academy in Perugia, Italy and at the Zeichenakademie in Hanau, West Germany. in the 1967 she joined Tiffany & Co. working under the guidance of Donald Claflin and in the 1975, she was the artistic director for her exclusive line brand Cummings. in 1984 she started her own line of jewelry to be retailed exclusively at an in-boutique store at Bergdorf Goodman, in New York city. now she's retired from the jewelry business.

This pen is a nice and rare collector's piece, both her signed pieces for Tiffany & Co. created in the 1970's and 1980's and also her own exclusive pieces, remain highly collectible and are admired for their beauty, comfort and easily recognizably in style.
