Fabulous sculptural wire necklace, created in Copenhagen Denmark by designer Poul Trige for the silversmith company of Sørresiig. The necklace is from the period of 1963 and 1972 and has been crafted in solid .925/.999 sterling silver with high polished finish. The simplicity and the elegance of this minimalist necklace is incredible, the dangle oval element is embellished by a large piece of blue sodalite. Jewelry pieces by Poul Trige Sørresiig are extremely rare and highly collectable.

Sodalite: Mounted in inlaid setting, with 1 rectangular flat cabochon cut carved from natural blue sodalite, with a weight of about 30 carats.

Birthstone: Sodalite for the month of September.

Size: The wire circumference is 17 Inches, (43 Cm) and can be adjusted.

Measurements: The oval dangle element is 48 mm by 54 mm (1.89 x 2.13 Inches).

Hallmarks: Stamped with Danish marks, the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the silver and signed, "SøRRESIIG HAND MADE STERLING DENMARK".

Collateral: This necklace is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.

Condition: The overall condition of this wire necklace is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the silver. The sodalite is secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and the authenticity.
