This is a modernist pair of clips-on earrings designed by the silversmith artist J. Gabriel, back in the late 1970's. These artist-studio earrings have been crafted in the shape of oversized sculpted orchids in solid .925 sterling silver with brushed and textured finishes. They are fitted at the reverse with French-backs for fastening clips and the addition of posts for pierced ears can be easily done.
