This is a fabulous antique pocket snuff-box created in Birmingham England by Robert Mitchell, back in the 1824. The unusual snuff box has been masterfully crafted during the late Georgian period in solid gilt .925/.999 sterling silver and carvings of antelope horn. The box is fitted with double lids, a concealed five barrels hinge and a push snap lock. This beautiful box can be also used as a pill box.

Condition: The overall condition of this Robert Mitchell snuff box is excellent. Besides the little normal wear, there is no damage to the sterling. All parts are secured in their settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
