French Egyptian revival champleve pectoral.

Fabulous colorful piece, created in France in the late 19th century, circa 1880. This beautiful pectoral pendant has been crafted in the Egyptian revival style in solid silver and embellished with application of enamels in the French champlevé technique (cloisonne). The scarab in the center is carved from blue lapis lazuli and the scepter with reddish carnelian, both screwed from the backs.

Fitted in the reverse with two wires to be wear as a buckle or as a pendant in a chain. An exceptional rare piece with wonderful craftsmanship.
