An art deco lighter designed by Cartier.

This is a beautiful petrol pocket lighter, created in Paris France by the atelier-Frontin for the jewelry house of Cartier, back in the 1935. The lighter has been crafted with rectangular and squared linear shapes in solid .925/.999 sterling silver with high polished finish. It is fitted with a concealed lid, a petrol screw and a flint screw.

Weight: 49.3 Grams, (31.65 Dwt). 

Measurements: 46 mm by 34 mm by 16 mm (1.81 x 1.34 x 0.63 Inches).

Hallmarks: Stamped with French marks; the maker's mark associated to the Atelier-Frontin, the mark for the retailer brand of Cartier, the mark of the eagle for the assay and warranty of the .925 silver, the partial serial numbers and signed as follow: "CARTIER PARIS DEPOSE xxx71".

Note: This pocket lighter is empty of any flammable, gas or butane substances and is ready to be ship by any carrier. This lighter just need a new flint and proper lighter fluid. Was tested and is in working condition.

Collateral: This lighter is accompanied by a presentation jewelry pouch.

ConditionThe overall condition of this Cartier lighter is very good. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the silver. All parts are secured in their settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
